It was reported on South Africa Live Monitor, that the deceased man from the Nigerian church founded by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, is also a married man and was obviously chatting with his lover when fate decided to dealt him a blow. He thought he was sending the picture to his lover, who happens to be a member of the same church.
The extremely embarrassing situation could have been easily waved as mistaken identity if Letsego had not caption it, “wife is away, it’s all yours tonight,” which was a crystal clear self-casting.
Criticizing comments from church members who were shocked by such high level of misconduct from their own pastor starting trooping in and as soon as Letsego realised his mistake after having hit the ‘send’ button, he exited the group and quit answering all incoming calls to his cell phone.
Pastor Letsego was found dead 24 hours later; hanging in his rented church house. Meanwhile some members of the church in South Africa said the pastor’s antics have always been a cause for concern. According to them, he was always seen in the company of one of the deacons named Miriam whom they suspected was sharing much more than friendship with the late pastor.
It was reported the late Christ Embassy pastor would deny having anything more than friendship with the lady, whenever his wife or congregants quiz him about the relationship and hence he would say “as a pastor, he was a father to everyone and Miriam was his favourite daughter”.
