SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Adam Lambert may have been a hit on American Idol but 13,000 Singaporeans have signed an online petition trying to get him booted off the stage at the city-state's largest New Year's eve concert because they say his performances are overly sexual.
The petition, addressed to concert organizer Mediacorp, the Singapore government and culture minister Grace Fu, says a performance by the openly gay Lambert is inappropriate and does not align with Singaporean values.
The concert organizer said it was sticking with Lambert, a runner-up on American idol who caused controversy during his 2009 American Music Awards performance when he kissed his male keyboardist and stimulated sexual acts with dancers.
Sex between men is illegal in Singapore.
"We urge the organizers of Countdown 2016 to recognize and respect the values of the majority of Singapore that has voiced its desire to preserve our nation’s moral fiber," reads the petition, which was posted anonymously by a group saying it represented concerned parents. (http://bit.ly/1lNoM5N)
The petitioners argue that having Lambert at the concert would bring a sour note to the end of the conservative city-state's 50th birthday celebrations.
State TV company Mediacorp maintained Lambert would perform, and said the concert would be suitable for family audiences and conform with broadcast regulations.

Not all of Singapore wants to exclude the singer. A rival online petition has so far gathered 93 signatures backing Lambert's performance.

But on Sunday night, the couple blasted rumors when they attended the American Music Awards after party hand in hand at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, Calif. When we asked the twosome if they were going to get married, Kylie was quick to say that they were. Huh? What?!

What do you get for the teenage bride who has everything?! We aren't sure you can gift wrap common sense ...

Report: Kim Kardashian Moving Up Her Christmas Due Date To Thanksgiving

Kim Kardashian was originally due to give birth to her baby boy around Christmas, but now the reality star is moving up her due date and will deliver him closer to Thanksgiving, Us Weekly reports. What's the rush, you ask? While we would assume she's just tired of being preggo, it's actually because of concerns for and her unborn child's health.

“Kim’s doctors want to get the baby out early because of her medical history," a source dished to the mag. The E! starlet struggled with high blood pressure during her pregnancy with daughter North West, and this time around she has excess fluid in her placenta that can lead to gestational diabetes.

If the littlest West is going to be here soon, they better pick a moniker for him! "It’s like the last thing that Kanye and I did when [2-year-old daughter] North was born. We didn’t name her for like seven days. I feel like it will just come to us," the 35-year-old told People.

Having a bun in the oven is no cakewalk for Kimmy K!

Kanye West And Kendall Jenner Stay Mum On Paris Terror Attacks

Kanye West returned to Los Angeles over the weekend, and the rapper stayed silent when asked about the Paris attacks, and how his friends in the city were doing. Kendall Jenner arrived at LAX a little bit later, and she also stayed mum on the matter:


Of course, Kendall (and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner household) expressed their thoughts on social media on Friday. "Praying for Paris," Kendall simply tweeted, while big sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian posted images on their Instagram accounts sharing the same sentiment.

On Friday evening Paris was hit with a series of coordinated terror attacks, and according to CNN, at least 150 people have died. Terrorists armed with AK-47s and bombs targeted a soccer match and concert, and on Saturday morning, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attacks.

After being by his side 24/7 during his stay in the ICU, it's not strange that she is visiting less. Khloé has behaved like most people do," a source dished to People.

News reports that the cat walker has been cast to model the "lingerie line's sexiest nightwear" on the big night, and nobody is probably happier about this than momager Kris Jenner!
